Magnetic Therapeutic Technologies (MTT) is a family-owned and operated business located in Irving, Texas, just outside of Dallas. The company was founded by Jim and Gloria Richardson in 1994 to promote better health and well-being. Jim had discovered a unique magnetic product he believed would help many people. He and Gloria dedicated themselves to developing and marketing a line of magnetic products that would promote this goal. Privately funded, MTT has worked steadily to improve the quality and functional properties of its unique magnetic products.

The M+ "Direct Application" magnet is the cornerstone of Magnetic Therapeutic Technologies. The patented M+ magnet is truly unique. Since it was designed specifically to be worn on the body, it is not a typical, hard, cold, metal magnet. Instead, it is made of a mixture of powders, including high-grade neodymium, encapsulated in high-quality grade silicone. It is very soft, unusually conformable, and lightweight - ideal qualities for its purpose. Thus the direct application magnets are easily and comfortably worn almost anywhere on the body, held in place with an adhesive tape. A special magnetizing process produces a long-range, unidirectional magnetic field that gently permeates into many substances, including body tissues. It performs very well and has yielded many satisfied customers.

After producing the M+ direct application magnet, the company expanded its product line and offered a variety of high quality neoprene Supports for the back, knee, elbow and wrist. Each contained one or more of the M+ magnets, an ideal combination. Customers could buy a high quality support for the affected area while simultaneously applying a gentle magnetic field.

After selling many of the Support products, MTT responded to customer requests for something similar, but lighter in weight. The answer was the Flex-Wrap line of products. Light-weight and stretchable nylon "belts" of different lengths had a velcro-type fastener at the end. Similar to the Ace™ Bandage concept, this includes one or more cloth-covered M+ magnets that may be positioned anywhere on the belt. MTT had another great product to offer its customers.

MTT offers its products to retail customers via the internet and credit cards. Businesses and manufacturers are asked to contact MTT directly and ask for Mr. Jim Richardson.
